Privacy policy
AussieQS (De Fonseka Pty Ltd as trustee) collects personal information only to provide quantity surveying services and to respond to enquiries. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it is handled.
What we collect
- Contact details: your name, email address and phone number.
- Property details for depreciation schedules: address, purchase date and price, settlement and first-rented dates, construction and renovation information, photos, videos and documents you send us.
- Project details for quantity surveying and commercial management work: project name, location, contract information and documents you share.
- Your accountant’s or adviser’s details, if you ask us to send a report to them.
- Website analytics (pages visited, device and browser type) collected through Google Analytics via cookies.
Why we collect it
To check whether a service is worth doing for you, prepare and deliver the report or advice you have asked for, invoice you, answer your questions, and keep the records the Tax Practitioners Board and our professional body require.
Where it is kept
On our website host (Hostinger, servers managed in accordance with Australian and international privacy law), in our business email, and in our own files. We do not sell personal information and do not share it with anyone except your nominated accountant or adviser, or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Depreciation schedules and their supporting information are kept for at least seven years after delivery, as records supporting a tax return. Enquiries that do not become a job are deleted within 12 months.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how it is used. You can block analytics cookies in your browser without affecting the site.
Access and correction
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@aussieqs.com.au. We respond within 14 days.
