Projects and contracts
Commercial and contract management
Someone senior on your side of the contract: notices sent on time, claims made properly, subcontracts negotiated, and risks flagged before they cost money.
Typical engagements
- Placements: embedded commercial manager or contracts manager in your project team, on site or in the office, from a few days a week to full time for the life of a package or project
- Contract administration under NEC4 ECC, AS 4000 and AS 2124: early warnings, compensation events, variations, extensions of time, progress claims and payment schedules
- Subcontract procurement and negotiation: scopes, tender assessment, terms and back-to-back risk
- Claims support: preparing and presenting variations and delay claims, or assessing the ones made against you
- Commercial close-out and final account
Engagements are scoped in a short call and confirmed in a one-page proposal: day rate for placements, fixed fee or retainer for defined tasks.
